Content: The drugs are starting to lose their effect, so Gin has offered to help Shinji find other ways of keeping his Persona under control; namely giving it an outlet of violence.
Setting: In a clearing, a reasonable hike from the fairgrounds.
Time: Mid- to late-afternoon.
Warnings: Sparring and swearing to start with. Eventual mental trauma and likely a very unhappy arrancar minion.
Keeping in mind that there were those like Ikkaku and Sara who might be able to sense that something was going on, Gin had carefully picked a battleground some distance from the rest of the fair. The clearing he'd found was wide enough to give plenty of space for free movement, and defended by a tall circle of trees that provided a good amount of cover over-head from the afternoon sun and from any planes that might be practicing or scoping out the countryside.
It promised privacy, and almost no chance of interruption. It was also remote enough that Shinjiro should be satisfied that his Persona wasn't going to risk hurting anyone except Gin and himself, and somehow Gin doubted he'd have a problem with either of those outcomes.
Gin didn't either. He was rather looking forward to putting Castor to the test, and seeing how it would stand up to his own abilities. Shinsou had been stirring in his soul, awake and eager for the possibility of bloodshed, which made it difficult to sit still but Gin forced himself to wait patiently, leaning nonchalantly with his back against one of the enormous trees with only his fingers drumming on the hilt of his zanpakuto giving any sign of impatience.
