She recognized this, but she still wasn't about to give up. This setup was too sweet. Dee did not want to lose it.
Stepping forward, looking as unsure as she felt, Dee knocked timidly on the door.

He set his papers down, cleared his throat, and glowered at the door. While he looked furious on the outside, he was practically gleeful on the inside. Oh, this was going to be rich.
"Enter!"

"Oh, hey, sir." She opened the door the rest of the way and fiddled with her hair. "I came as fast as I could. I hope I'm not late." Flashing her best sad and pathetic look at Edgeworth, she entered the room. Despite her fear of being punished, it was pretty easy for her to scrounge up a sweet smile.
"You look busy. Maybe I should come back some other time."

"Oh no," he said, his voice firm and dark, "I have plenty of time to talk to you, Ms. Reynolds. Now, sit!"
Perhaps he was laying it on a bit thick, but it didn't matter. He steepled his hands on his desk, and stared at her until she obeyed.

At least, on his own. However, Bunansa would soon no longer be able to help him, and Sasuke Uchiha wasn't to be trusted. He needed to find someone else to be his eyes and ears, and he needed them to be both knowledgeable and discrete.
Which brought him to Agatsuma Soubi. In all honesty, he wasn't fond of his connections with Gavin, but he hadn't seen or heard of them being particularly close. In fact, he hadn't seen much of this radio operator at all. It was time to fix that.
He entered the radio room, head held high, and made quick strides over to the other man. "Sub-Lieutenant," he said with a nod. "Are you busy?"

He picked up his journal, keeping it tucked under one arm as he saluted for the first mate. One must be proper on a military ship, after all.
"No, I'm not busy, Commander," he smiled. "I'm flattered you've come to visit me. What can I do for you today?"

Edgeworth paused, and suppressed a sigh. Which left the other one.
He stepped lightly into the kitchen, and heard Francis' voice long before he caught sight of him. While the song was rather ridiculous, Edgeworth appreciated the distraction it provided. He continued his way into the kitchen, his footsteps softer than combat boots had any right to be, and stood behind him before he spoke.
"Hello, Bonnefoy."

That should have been a warning.
"It's nothing much," he said. "I just had a few questions."

The little girl spied Edgeworth coming down the corridor she had been about to enter; with a little skip, she paused right in front of him and curtsied. "Mr. Edgeworth! I was looking for you!"

"What do you need, Greta?"

"There is one thing you can do for me," he said. "There are some notes I need sent to Stibbins, one of the airmen. Just follow me - they should be in my quarters."
