Characters: Souji Seta and the Fiertia Content: Souji takes his fish out for some outdoors cooking~ Setting: Near port, just outside town Time: Early evening Warnings: Souji's cooking causes mouth orgasms
One of the things Abe was getting good at in this city was getting lost. It wasn't a skill he particularly wanted to cultivate, but was getting better at anyway. That... needed to change. Maybe he should have just taken the plane out, despite the darkening skies. Common sense had, of course, told him that going out to buy some tools was hardly worth taking the Catcher out, and where would he park it?
And so on foot he went, which led to him getting lost. It was when he spied a flickering light in the distance that he finally realized which direction the port was, and he approached it quickly. "Hey," he called as he spied the person by the fire (and smelled the fish, oh that smelled good).
Souji looked up and smiled, waving slightly. He THOUGHT he might recognize the man, but he wasn't sure. There were new people joining the crew all the time, after all.
"Hungry?" He offered, holding up one of the finished fish. The smell was like heaven on a stick.
"No," Abe answered automatically at the same time that his stomach growled at the amazing smell of the fish. "Yes," he corrected and took the offered food. "Thanks," he added, and realized that he was indeed famished.
He took a bite, and immediately blinked. "This is... really good. Are you from the Fierta?"
His relaxed smile grew at the complement, and he plucked another fish free, setting to work on it. Not as good as if he was in a kitchen... but there was something about the smoky flavor of cooking outside you could never replicate elsewhere.
"Yeah. Souji Seta, helmsman. A pleasure." He offered the hand not holding his own food, doing his best to look friendly even with the fire causing strange shadows to cross his face and stranger reflections in his glasses.
Wolfram, having been exploring with nothing better to do, sniffed the air curiously. He blushed as his stomach growled and though he attempted to restrain himself for honor's sake he found his feet moving towards the origin of the delicious scent without his permission. He wasn't normally one to try and get food from strangers, but the smell was so intoxicating it seemed to take all inhibitions out the window.
The helmsman looked up, seeing Wolfram. it seemed his snack was attracting more and more people. He didn't mind of course, and in fact was pleasantly surprised. He was a social creature after all.
So he waved, as if Wolfram was a long lost friend.
