Stepping upon the deck of the Victoria II, the strategist allowed himself a moment of leisure before he wandered out towards the docks. He lit a cigarette and just stared out at the scenery before. The great skyscrapers that loomed within the distance looked as they could pierce the sunny blue skies today. There was barely a cloud in sight, only a valley of endless blue that hung over the pristine horizon. Today was rather nice out, perhaps a good omen of some kind. By tomorrow, the Victoria II will set its sails to Solare in the north. This would be the last day Cao Cao will have in his beautiful city of Bellcius and he planned to spend this last day with one of his most trusted comrades second to his cousins, Yuanrang and Miaocai.

Walking down the long gangplank in a leisurely pace, it did not take long for Cao Cao to catch the sight of the feminine man who stood upon the docks. "Junyi." He called out towards him with a smile.

"The years have been rather kind towards you."

He watched as the elder walked towards him, guiltily a small smile arose as he approached. It had been longer than he thought, but still Mengde looked nearly the same."You have aged gracefully, Mengde." With that he lifted off the boxes, going to meet him at a point.

Hopefully this would be an enjoyable day, though he had nearly no doubts about that. It was Mengde after all and the few times they talked were always set up for amusement. "Though you seem to feel like teasing me with such a slow walk, knowing that I've been waiting. How cruel." Of course he was joking. His sense of humor hadn't left him after all.

Chuckling at the other man’s response, Cao Cao had to admit that it was quite good to see Zhang He again after so many years. “Perhaps I am teasing you.” He replied just as jovial. “At least my form of jest is more appealing than your own.” They have a lot of catching up to do and the entire day to do so.

Junyi made a small face at the joking insult before laughing softly. "The years haven't been as kind as you claimed then. Not only are you teasing me, you're lying. Who knew you were capable of such things." A small smile and he started to walk alongside the elder man. "It's nice to see you again, Mengde."
