Jotaro stood there next to Star Platinum, holding in his greasy hands the Hamon Drive for his engine. The part didn't look damaged in any way. In fact, the only visible damage in the room was a wall that now had a rather massive, person shaped indent on it. There were steel girders that had actually BENT to whatever force had blown Jotaro back.

And he wasn't hurt.

"Uh... I think I broke it? It doesn't usually do this."

Kakyoin was staring at the damage with a dumbfounded look. What on earth could have caused this...? Hewas still staring as he replied, in an almost cautious manner.

"...Are you hurt at all?" He could see the answer to that was no, but he felt the need to ask it right now. "What were you doing when this," he asked, gesturing to the damage, "happened?"

"I was just... thinking," Jotaro answered simply. His hands almost refused to leave the object he was holding. His knuckles were turning white as well...

"Something doesn't feel right."

Kakyoin furrowed his brow.

"Something really doesn't feel right. What were you thinking about?"

He then looked to Jotaro's hands.

"You're gripping that really tightly...Maybe you should let go of it."

Penelo had heard Jotaro's journal post, and really didn't think he was all that okay. So, like a good nurse, she headed down to where Jotaro had last been seen.

"Mr. Jotaro, I want to check you--oh my god, what happened?!"

Seeing a giant of a teenager lying passed out (she hoped) on the floor with his best friend hovering over him was not something Penelo really wanted to see. She swooped over and reached for her emergency carry pack.

"Mr. Kakyoin, what happened?" she asked, all business.

Kakyoin stood up with a look of relief spreading across his face. Oh thank goodness, someone who could actually help. He didn't know how much he could really explain to Penelo, but he'd try.

"He...collapsed. No pulse. Something strange is happening to him."

No pulse? That didn't sound good. Penelo leaned down and put an ear to Jotaro's chest, checking for breathing (yes, normally no pulse meant no breathing, but there had been cases, usually magically, where that wasn't the case).

"I can't tell if he's breathing, and I don't have my staff," she muttered, opening the carry pack to see if she had anything that could help. "Health potions, stamina potions....nothing. Drat." The mage looked at Kakyoin. "Can you run back to the infirmary and get my staff? It's rosewood, and has my name carved at the top. I'll stay here and try to get his heart started again."

Before Kakyoin responded, Penelo started CPR on Jotaro. No more time for talk if they wanted to save the other pilot.

Kakyoin nodded at her request and turned to go. Hierophant could make it faster than he could and he knew that. He got far enough out of sight and summoned his Stand. It rapidly uncoiled and Kakyoin used its eyes so he could see. Snaking through the hallways and down to the infirmary, Hierophant's extended grasp grabbed hold of the staff.

"Now let's just hope there's no one in the way," he said to himself. Hierophant's tentacles started to coil back into their original form even more rapidly than they had come apart. Once his Stand was back by hi with the staff, he took it and Hierophant was gone again.

"Here," he shouted from the doorway, running back towards Penelo.
