She remembered the blond woman, Carol she thinks, from her inauspicious arrival. Ducking a pile of costumes, Yvaine wove her way through the hustle and mess to close the distance between them.
"Excuse me. Is there anything I can do to help?"
Reply
"Do you know anything about make-up?"

She pauses, looking around for a moment before alighting on another idea. "Or I could help people with their costumes? Some of them look complicated."

As the words left her mouth it was as if Carol jinxed herself, as she glanced over the costumes again she saw a small, yet visable, stain on one of the dresses. You would think the stain had just threatened to kill Carol's family the way she glared at it, and quickly pulled the hanger off the wrack. She looked at the stain more closely. "Oh shit, were the hell were these stored the kitchen?!" She yelled to no one in particular.

The mechanic-thief double checked her outfit. Discrete, and no scarf this time. Too recognizable. Reassured that she most likely wouldn't be caught because of her outfit, Rikku sat on a chair backstage and waited for her cue. And staying out of the actors and crew members way. Rikku loved her crazy, confusing, whacked out "family", but performance nights made everyone cranky.

He gave Rikku a cocky smile as he passed by her, himself only half in his costume. He had his appropriate breeches and boots on, but had yet to shuck free his yellow shirt and gloves, preferring to do that a little closer to opening, so as not to risk sweating in them.

"Wanna see who can get the most stuff tonight?" she asked.

He flashed his teeth at her and put his arms behind his head, his posture expressing both his comfort around his "name-twin", and his complete assurance that he would best her.
"What'll we bet?"

He maneuvered through the crowd deftly, not once slowing his stride as he dodged around last-minute set construction, a small group of people carrying a ladder, and nudged straight through a group of gossiping extras, saying apologies the entire time.
To top it all off, he wasn't quite sure where Hana had gone off to. Spotting him in this crowd would be next to impossible.

"Ah, M-mister Stampede!" He said as he picked himself up. "Sorry about that, I was looking for you but it's so busy and crowded that I couldn't find you and..."
Reply
"It's okay! Let's just get going!" He grabbed the shoulder of Hana's outfit, making sure he stayed close as he hurried through the rest of the crowd, leading him to a narrow set of stairs at the very back. They led up to walkways above the stage and the orchestra box, where the fireworks had been set up hours ago. "We've got to lay these out and get the first round lit as soon as we can!"

He turned a page and frowned. Some of these lines were rather complicated, and he'd never performed on stage before. Fortunately enough, his face alone tended to distract, so perhaps a few missed lines wouldn't be heavily frowned upon.
Noticing someone moving around set pieces, he closed the script for a moment and approached them, smiling pleasantly. "Can I help you with anything?"

Though, unfortunately, Jing had been hoping that he would be assigned to collection instead of distraction. It was something he was familiar with--instead of prancing around on stage reciting someone else's words.
"Are you acting, or are you just working backstage tonight?"
