Countdown to Showtime [OPEN]

Content: Backstage craziness that occurs before the big Winding Way production.
Setting: The Backstage area aboard the Winding Way
Time: A few hours before showtime and also during the show
Warnings: Show stress, and most likely foul language.

Sonic was cutting it close- He had to be extra careful as he ran towards the backstage... He was carrying some props after all. He didn't wanna crash into anymore crewmembers- Shadow and Tails were enough!

Arriving, the blue hedgehog was relieved to see the play hadn't started yet. If it had, he'd just have to drop the props and get going.

Going over to a wall, Sonic sat down next to it, having placed the props off to the side.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Am I in your way?" Tony literally was hanging by his knees upside down on the railing that held the lights into place. Dummy was somehow balanced on the catwalk near by holding a flashlight for Tony to see his work well enough. He just had a few wires to adjust, test the motor he built and see if his idea was working. Then he'll have to check on the timer so the lights' colours would change when they need to be

"Hey, Tony," Rikku called playfully. Now that Riku was looking for his outfit, Rikku needed someone else to pester. "How didja get up there?"

Tony jerked, barely managing to keep his balance and not fall. "Rikk! I'm working here!" He gave her a half-hearted glare, pushing Dummy's arm out of his way. "Not there, Dummy! Over there! Good, now stay." He just had a few more wires to connect and then he could get off his railing and back on solid ground.

He just wished he could have used Shellhead's boots to stay up there rather than what he was doing. It probably would be safer but it could damage the stuff he finished working on.

"And what does it look like I'm doing? You think I'd be up here for fun? I don't like hanging upside down!"

"I know what you're doing, dummy." Rikku glared at the robot-thing next to Tony. "Not you. The other dummy. I asked," she said, adressing Tony again, "how did you get up there?"

Tails was absorbed in making sure that the motors for the set were in proper working order. He'd just finished his inspection to see that it was in good condition and was now working on adjusting the timing. Things needed to be just right so that the performance would go well.
