The captain had given permission for the crew to strip the crashed Montague of anything they could use or sell. Raiding wasn't Fran's forte, and she wasn't sure her mechanical skills were good enough to work on the engine just yet.
So, like a responsible records keeper, she had offered to keep a running total of what was stripped from the ship. She had also asked the crew members stripping the ship to bring her any of the documents left--there had to be an inventory or captain's log somewhere in the rubble.

Susan had her team in the lift to be lowered down to the Montague, gun and sword strapped to her side ready for whatever trouble they might get into. She hadn't worked much with any of the crew before, Ishhin more than the others, she was interested in seeing how Asch and Ichimaru performed under the task.
"We'll land on the upper deck. Keep an eye out for bad floors. We don't know how much damage she took to take her down. It's no good going hunting for survivors if we get ourselves injured or worse."
The elevator stopped just a few inches from the deck.

Isshin followed behind Ivanova, a bit of a frown on his face. Usually he would be better off staying in the infirmary and wait until they returned to the shop but the situation was different this time. Given how long the ship had already been here, the survivors would most likely need immediate medical attention, and Isshin despite all his wackiness knew when and where to separate between work and personal time.
Against better judgment, he brought along his zanpaktou - though he kept the seal on. No sense unsealing it for something like this, especially after twenty long years. It was more of a self-defense weapon than anything else; just in case a monster or two decided to attack them. It was better to be safe then to be sorry.
Isshin nodded once, twice as the first mate spoke, making a brief sound of acknowledgment at her words. This wasn't a time to goof off now - the time for action was now. Instincts awake, the man started to move off with the team into the wreckage of the Montague.

Privately, Asch had little hope for survivors. The Montague crashed a long time ago. Most survivors would have tried to travel to civilization.
Or were dead, taken by thirst, starvation, or monsters.
Asch wasn't very keen on working in a group - he had spent most of his life alone. But by joining the Silvana, he accepted that he would have to work with others. Even if he did believe that most of them had the competence of a rappig. It did comfort him a little that he'd be working with the first mate. At least she knew what she was doing.
He followed along with the group, not saying a word. Despite the fact that it would never fly again, the Montague was a sturdy construction and was sure to attract all sorts of creatures looking for shelter.

The opportunity to explore the wreck was making Gin feel positively jaunty, and it showed on his expression. His zanpaktou was sticking out from the front of his coat, tilted at the angle best suited for being drawn quickly, and as he walked he listened to the angry squeak of the floorboard beneath them, as though the ship itself was reproaching them for trespassing

Minato yawned for about the fiftieth time since he'd woken up, hand raised to his mouth as he stood there, waiting for the other three members of his group. He slipped his hand back into his pocket after making sure his sword was properly sheathed at his side, his Evoker holstered in place, and adjusting an ear piece to his headset. At the moment, he had the volume to his radio on low, so he could hear if anyone approached him.
Hopefully they would all arrive soon so they could get on the lift and to the ship as quickly as possible. If he was right, the search party had gone ahead of them. He certainly couldn't go alone for the engine room, though. It wasn't just that it was risky, but he actually had no idea how to work an engine. He was really going along in case there were monsters, since his attacks, or even Inugami's healing spell, would come in handy.

While searching around for the engine room to a crashed ship that had lain defenseless in the Badlands for some time was a decidedly dangerous proposition, Nikolas was actually looking forward to it. He'd gotten to flex a little muscle during the spider infestation, so to speak, but he was actually vaguely hoping for a chance to really cut loose on this mission. It was rare he ever utilized anything close to his full abilities in the daily dispensation of his duties on the Silvana, after all.
So it was in rather high spirits--at least for him--that Nikolas approached the appointed area. "We should have two others joining us," he commented to Minato as he walked up. "Then we can proceed."

As usual, Chichiri was adorned with his hat and cape, staff in hand and mask on his face. He had been doing a lot of work helping Tear lately, but those operations had brought him to the realization that he would have to meet a lot more of the crew members if he was supposed to be doing any kind of detective work. Plus, there was some adventure to be found waiting in that abandoned ship, he was sure of it.
Even though he was ready to make some new friends - or at least acquaintances - it was nice to see a familiar face. "Nikolas no da!" Chichiri chirped before turning to acknowledge the other person with a head nod and a smile. "I'm Chichiri no da."

With Seragillo nowhere to be found, Tear had found herself assigned to the engine room search in his stead. Not wanting to waste another moment, she hastily hurried to where the other volunteers were to meet
