Tonight was the worst night ever.

Still, that didn't mean he could shirk his duties as a ninja and a thief, as a part of the Way's crew. Naruto dropped down next to Zidane, frown tight on his face as he stared down at the ground. How did Kurt expect them to loot when he told them that he was leaving?

Pulling a face, he looked up as he shoved his hands into his pockets. Shit. When he got back, he was yelling at him, captain or not. "We better get started soon."

Laharl wasn't much for plays in the first place; that went doubly so for something named "I Want to be Your Canary." Sounded like the sort of lovey-dovey crap that Flonne liked

Once Naruto and Zidane had headed off to the house they were ordered to loot, the blond shorter one of the two wasn't expecting to be followed. He was usually pretty good at being stealthy, and from what he'd heard from the ship, he thought Naruto was too.

So, when Laharl decided to speak up. Zidane jumped about three feet into the air and grabbed a lower hanging tree branch to cling to.

".....Laharl!?" Zidane said in his best, not shouty voice while he tried not to think about the years off his life he just lost.
