While Venus had her plots and plans, Edgeworth had his own work to take care of. Repairs on the ship were under way, the city was in the process of being cleared of the rubble and restored, and that damn boatswain was finally going to be put in his place. All in all, he had been quite productive. There was just one thing he needed ( ... )

Elysia was lost in thought as she wandered about a tad aimlessly. It has been a day or so since she sent her last message to General Wisemen and there has been no word from Confederacy as of late. Perhaps they were looking into the whole matter of the bombings now themselves, the bombings that took place during Lunasa. She was sure that the general would contact her again soon but Elysia wasn't too sure if Wisemen would risk contacting her while she is here on enemy territory...

"Ow!"

Some louse knocked right into her, nearly sending her falling off that high-heels of her if she didn't have such impeccable balance. She growled a little as she fixed her long blond hair back, her bright blue eyes glaring at him slightly. "Watch it, bu--" The woman suddenly trailed off for a second once recognized his face.

"...Oh! Oh, s-sorry! I didn't see you." Elysia giggled nervously despite the fact her mind was now in total shock.

Miles Edgeworth...

"There's no need to apologize." Edgeworth's voice was stiff, and his eyes darted to the side as he brushed himself off. "I should have been more attentive." It was true, and he was embarrassed to admit it. There was no excuse for this mistake.

He looked back at her, and asked, "Are you alright?" Edgeworth wasn't a complete cad; he would make sure everything was fine, and then go his own way.

"Oh..." Elysia was actually unsure how to answer Edgeworth's question at first, unsure if she should play her cards or not. She could just let him go off into the city never to be seen again but something told her she had a prime opportunity before to gain information. So, in an attempt to not loose this precious chance of digging her claws into the First Officer's skin, the fake reporter decided to put on a charming smile as she answered him.

"Well, I am a little...lost." The beautiful blond said as she batted her long eyelashes. "You see, I was trying to figure out how to get to my uncle's shop in town." Elysia smiled more at Edgeworth, a friendly smile.

"You see, I am not from around here! I am visiting family..."

Ocelot finally made it out of the alleyway, and... damn, he'd lost them. Well, he had a general idea of where they'd be, but he'd rather not get close enough that Edgeworth would be able to recognize him at a later date. That would... compromise things.

Anyway, he doubted anything more would happen that would interest him. He just had to go back to the ship and wait; after all, he doubted there was anywhere else that Elysia could go.
