At first, Ikkaku didn't even look over to see who was standing next to him, trying to put their grubby little fingers on the set he intended to buy. No, all he could do was stare straight ahead, an inferno suddenly erupting in his cutting stare. Muscles tensing, he drew in a deep, contemptuous breath, then let it back out again as if he were breathing fire. "Oi...go find something else, numbnuts. This thing's mine," he growled.

If this weren't a gift for someone else, he wouldn't have cared so much. Still, this was absolutely perfect for Jushirou, the tea-sipping yuppie, and there was no way he'd give up being owed a solid by that guy.

For a long moment Minamimoto didn't even twitch. He just kept his hand right where is was, though the black one flexed a little.

Then his whole body tensed up, and he slowly looked up at the other man. And it WAS up. Sho wasn't short, but this guy seemed to have him beat in muscle at least. But if he noticed it didn't show. His goldenrod eyes gleamed from under his hat, and he matched the others growl with one of his own, showing off sharp canines.

"I don't think so,factoring hectopascel. I think this little piece is mine" He wasn't about to lose his Art to some ox.

Being insulted was, apparently, the trigger for Ikkaku to acknowledge this man's presence. He turned, moving at an ominously slow rate, until the crushing weight of his glare came to be fully focused on Sho. When angered, looking up into Ikkaku's eyes was like looking into the eyes of a beast; it broadcast no emotion, just a feral instinct to reach out maim.

"Ehhhh?" he grunted questioningly, leaning his head forward a little as if he hadn't heard Sho clearly. "What the hell'd you just call me?"

Calmly, Ikkaku's left hand was placed upon the thick of his sword's hilt. His fingers didn't wrap around it just yet, though, his palm merely coming to rest there. "No, never mind that...something tells me I wouldn't understand your babble anyway," Ikkaku huffed. "Just back away from the tea set, and I won't tear you apart."

Gin had finally slipped away from the shopping expedition, allegedly to go and deliver Hitsugaya's letter but mostly because he had better things to do than help carry groceries. There were people he had to speak to in town, reports of his own that needed to be sent through the proper channels...but despite that he found himself gravitating slowly towards the shopping district, following the near subliminal tug of power that it took him a minute to recognise.

Ah, Madarame.Far more obvious signs became apparent as he got closer. People screaming and running and the definite sound of furniture and ceramic breaking. He moved languidly against the flow of the crowd until he was standing in front of the store. The noise within was definitely the sound of an ongoing fight, but despite that he made no movement to either help or hinder. He'd much rather watch, and the opportunity presented itself rather grandly when someone was suddenly flung out through a window and into the street with Madarame following shortly afterwards ( ... )

Sho cackled as Ikkaku rushed at him, his blood-lust nice and boiling now. How had he ever been scared? Even for a moment?! He LIVED for this shit! The first thrusts were dodged, though more and more of his shirt was cut away. The last had to be defected by his arms. More blood flowed, but unlike before he had no energy field to take the brunt.

Nor did it seem to matter.

As the ending swing came at him Sho laughed again, and jumped. The weapon swung past, and Sho's boots connected with the very tip, giving him just enough boost to get REALLY air born.

"HA! Sooo~ Zetta slow Madarame! Dodge THIS!" He cackled from the air, aiming his next energy attack not at his opponent, but at the top of the building he had crashed into before, bringing a chunk of the roof sliding down and towards the street below.

Like he gave a damn about property damage!

Pursuit was the first thing on Ikkaku's mind; he hated for Sho to try and distance himself from the fight, leaving out all the close-quarter combat that Ikkaku enjoyed. Flinging projectiles just wasn't his thing; no, he wanted to get in face-to-face and slash this man up. Without pause, he sprinted straight forward after his opponent, his feet moving with such swiftness that they barely even seemed to be touching the ground ( ... )

Sho bow his back, his body wanting to dodge even though his brain was telling him it was unnecessary. It didn't matter either way, as the weapon broke apart, extending it's range much more then Minamimoto could have ever predicted.

The first part of the weapon slammed in his gut, and before he had a chance to even react to the that the second attack hit, slicing into his shoulder. Sho bellowed in pain and rage, but instead of flying backward from the force of the attack he dug his claws into the weapon like a pissed cat, throwing his weight downwards, hoping to bring them down to Reial as hard and fast as possible.
