I've been on Cipralex for over a week. I didn't really expect to feel any changes yet, and I really haven't. You know, I was thinking the other day that people are a lot more accepting of my "unemployed" status now that I am married as opposed to when I was not, i.e., when I can say I am a genuine housewife as opposed to somebody's unemployed girlfriend.

Also, it really irks me that feminism has made it so that it is *unusual* that a woman should stay at home and "rely" on her husband financially, when 50 years ago that was totally normal. But of course, as you say, in order to progress these days, both parts of the couple usually need an income. If we owned a house, I'd be more than happy to never go back to work supposing we could afford it.

Haha, same here. If we owned a house and we could afford for me to do so, I would be perfectly happy to NEVER have to go back to work. I love being a housewife!

Not many people seem to have issue with me being unemployed, since I'm a wife. Certain people do, but it's really none of their business. I'm pretty hard on myself about it, as you can tell!

You've come so far against your anxiety--you should be really proud of yourself! I have my own battles with that particular demon, so I know it's not a straight road or an easy one by any means. *hugs* Keep it up, we're all here for you.
