Not least of which was my father dying of a stroke unexpectedly the day before Halloween. I sat there with him waiting for them to declare him brain dead. It was the most difficult

Oh god. My heart goes out to you. :( I wish you the absolute best in recovering, and fighting off that depression. Just remember that supportive friends and family members will do wonders to help, even if they're just physically around; it's always better than being alone in a rough time.
