Grief
Hey guys. Sorry I've been MIA for the past several months. I was extremely busy with work for awhile, and then I had some serious personal issues to work through. Not least of which was my father dying of a stroke unexpectedly the day before Halloween. I sat there with him waiting for them to declare him brain dead. It was the most difficult thing I've ever had to do.
I've been struggling to keep myself from falling back into depression, and haven't been too successful on that front. I do have some older writing to post but I haven't had the time or inclination to do anything with it due to everything going on. It's been a really hard couple of months. I hope you can understand. Hopefully I'll refind my inspiration and will begin to write again, or at least post my older work.
I'm sorry I haven't been on to follow anyone's journals. It's hard enough keeping up with facebook at the moment.
I just wanted to pop in, explain what's been going on, and wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving (if you celebrate it).
