Writing Woes

So, I've been trying to write a couple of oneshots. They start off okay, but end up going in off-topic tangents and directions I don't want them to go in. While that's not always a bad thing, in this case it's more like rambling and isn't working out. Gah! It's so hard to get back into writing. And I feel like my story ideas are crap and have

Yeah. Writing, period, has been a struggle for me lately. I'll have an idea that is pretty awesome, but have no idea how to execute it. I've had bad experiences with Long fic (and as my archives attest a bad habit of not completing them). Any long fic I write would have to be pre-written before posting, but I'm not sure I have that kind of dedication. Reviews and feedback are what keep me going and without that I lose motivation. Maybe if I had a few people to beta its progress that would help, but who knows
