on Russian keyboarding

I got quite spoiled at Carleton, as the campus computers had the Russian grammar- and spell-check tools available. My lovely $7 Office 2007 does not, alas, have them. I've been fighting the Microsoft pages for a while trying to figure out how to get them. We'll see.

And that's not all!

This is rather frustrating. $0.39 plus $3.78 shipping? ( Read more... )

i thought of you today when i was at bella yarns, she had tahki cotton classic on sale for $1.37 a skein. and if you bought all of the skeins remaining of a color you got an additional 10% off, making them $1.24. so i did, i got for 31 skeins for $40! i couldn't help myself.
there's still 15 skeins of a really bright coral color left and a lot of skeins of bright red (at least 15, i would guess). i'm sorry that i got all of the cool colors, but how could i resist?
i hope your move went well and that you're having a great summer!

Be still, my heart! I love cotton classic! What a good deal, too. And of course you couldn't resist! Anyway, I've got the yarn for six unstarted projects sitting on my kitchen table, so I definetly don't need more yarn (even though I think I do).

I'm all moved and settled in and my class has ended, so I should come to stitch 'n bitch this week. I've missed group knitting! (I took my dad with me to a knitting show in Manchester, NH, yesterday, but it wasn't quite the same!)
