WELL THEN. my father scared the SHIT out of rosie and I earlier, but I'm too lazy to type it all out so if you're curious you can go read about it at her journal, here. let's just say it was YET ANOTHER bout of supernatural paranoia
( Read more... )
well, see. I would have yelled at you for that, BUT. A) YOU SPELLED SHULPS WRONG, DUMBASS. and B) it didn't just stop nicely at the end of her name on each line, it kept going.

oh, i really liked Simon Said, cuz the good psychic was really funny. He just had to say the line... Security Guard: "I shouldn't have let you kids in, i'm gonna get in trouble" psychic kid: "No, everything will be fine, go get yourself a coffee." pauses a moment "These aren't the droids you're looking for"
yeah, I liked the good psychic. XD especially since he didn't use his powers TOO much because he didn't see the need because he had everything he needed. that IMMEDIATELY made rosie and I look at each other and go "I LIKE HIM".
Read lots of Stephen King and Neil Gaiman. Both are very good. Some specific ones I'd recommend are Gaiman's American Gods and King's Insomnia, as well as his Dark Tower series.
Also, go read Jacqueline Carey! Her Kushiel's Legacy series is HOMG AWESOME, and it starts with Kushiel's Dart. Go read it now~
mmm, I love Stephen King. XD can't remember WHO said it, but it was something along the lines of "If you're going to read crap, at least read GOOD crap. Read Stephen King!" his horror stuff is awesome.
and I've actually got one of Gaiman's books out from the library. "Going Postal", I think? I haven't read it yet.
same thing with "Kushiel's Dart", although I actually own that.
yeesh. I need to read all the books I've gotten. x_x
GO READ KUSHIEL'S DART. NOW. I DON'T CARE WHAT ELSE YOU ARE READING, DROP THAT SHIT AND READ KUSHIEL'S DART. THAT BOOK IS SO AWESOME I'M TYPING IN ALL CAPS.
but yeah. It's really good, so you should get around to it soon. =D
I'm ignoring the Supernatural segment, as it makes me cringe.
But yaaaaaaay Anime Boston. If I have enough money/a JOB at that time (DAMN YOU UNEMPLOYMENT) I think I'm going for at least one of the days. Sans cosplay, sadly enough. I am pathetic and unmotivated and poor. Oh well. ;_;
oooh, sweet! XD it'd be kinda cool to bump into each other, wouldn't it? so yeah, if you see a SHM trio it's probably us. XD we may also be joined by a Vincent and Cid...
nothing wrong with going without cosplay, though. XD it costs LOTS of money you could spend on things like merchandise, yeah? XDD
Nope. I'll admit that I've never seen it to be a good judge, but then again, it never drew my attention either.
Where as I will be the girl with short, pink hair and very blue sneakers. *snicker* I'm sure we'll see each other some time or another. It's off the Hynes/ICA right?
Exactly. Plus, train and subway in is... oh, $15 a day, then food and shopping and me being a tool and drinking about $20 of starbucks a day (yes, I'm a caffiene freak). Cosplays just not in the cards for me. Not for AnimeBoston, or Otakon. Next year maybe though! *_*
