Well, people with OCD tend to feel anxious if something is out of order, or not in the proper place. Sometimes they believe something bad will happen if they're not able to accomplish a task, such as a child worrying their mother will get hurt if they don't have their pencils in order by length. Well...what if that were true? Not that, explicitly, their mother will get hurt but that by having their pencils in order actually decreases the chances of an injury occurring.

So they order their pencils and the universe's probability fields shift so it's far less likely their mother will come to harm.

Perhaps, even without a known specific outcome, people with OCD might inherently "know" that their pencils should be in order for a better outcome from some future event. If that's true, OCD people would in fact be cheating at the Game of Life.

How often do you think you've unwittingly ingested DNA from someone you live with? It's bound to happen, what with skin cells sloughing off and tiny hairs falling out and a multitude of other human body degradations.
probably happens a lot... maybe that's why you start looking like the people you live with... @_@

What if your pets choose you at the shelter, implanting a telepathic message to "PICK ME" when they see you?
i wouldn't doubt them psychically manipulating people.. especially cats... X3

Are "lost" objects really only on vacation?
yeah, i think the faeries take them on vacation... at least ours do... kinda like the roaming gnome, except inter-dimensional

Very intriguing!
I've had the thought that follows this line:

Would most of humanity's problems no longer exist if we all died in our 40s like in olden days?

Heck I think marriage success rates would be up a lot!
