What if, rather than having a disease, OCD people are actually innately aware of universal cheat codes?
that's what i keep telling myself... isn't that concept kinda what witchcraft is loosely based on, except looped excessively? lol

How often do you think you've unwittingly ingested DNA from someone you live with? It's bound to happen, what with skin cells sloughing off and tiny hairs falling out and a multitude of other human body degradations.
probably happens a lot... maybe that's why you start looking like the people you live with... @_@

What if your pets choose you at the shelter, implanting a telepathic message to "PICK ME" when they see you?
i wouldn't doubt them psychically manipulating people.. especially cats... X3

Are "lost" objects really only on vacation?
yeah, i think the faeries take them on vacation... at least ours do... kinda like the roaming gnome, except inter-dimensional

My old computer, Ultimo, used to turn himself on at precisely 2 AM every morning and connect to the internet. He never had a virus, I checked. Even after reformats, Ultimo would still do this. Is it possible he had a... girlfriend?
hehe, he changed his own bios settings so he could cyber with her

What if light watches you?
i think that's actually a concept of divinity i've read somewhere... it would also get rid of the problem in quantum mechanics where probability states don't collapse until observed, hmm...

Are weeds disciples of chaos?
pretty much... my gardening teacher called them "plants of out place"... they're only called weeds because they're opportunistic and can grow in a wide range of soil/sun/water/ph environments, especially well-groomed garden soil. they're usually the first to inhabit an area and will actually change the crappy soil to be more suitable for future generations of all plant types. many of them are useful nutritionally and medicinally, like purslane... not their fault plantist gardeners want to give all the nutrients to the "good" plants... but yeah, nature itself is kind of a chaotic force with benefits lol

Imagine cigarettes were the only cure for some deadly airborne pathogen. Would you risk potential cancer?
only if i could still smoke weed lol... i hear that it helps cuts down on risk of lung cancer, etc., and besides, what doesn't smoking weed cure? lol

What evolutionary mutations are we introducing into the human gene pool thanks to civilization? Will the human race eventually lose its ability to regulate core temperature because of artificial climate control like heating and air conditioning?
i think i already had that happen to me... but i think there's been studies on when agriculture first appeared 10k years ago, and the resulting civilization that sprung up, affected diet greatly and thus changed human physiology around the available nutrients... i'm hoping we get something cool next, like vast amounts of information and global connection leads to increased brain capability that leads to more psychic abilities... and maybe a visual language so that we're able to project our thoughts, either into open air or into another's mind...

sorry for the length, but your post was very thought provoking <3
