Dude I started a "Baby Watch" post for my friend after she passed her due date....it went eight days. Babies decide when to exit the womb all on their own....enjoy the back episodes of law and order.
PS Hope this was acceptable. *cowers under desk*
pPS Working off naps from college would be nice. Somebody should invent the ability to store sleep for later use.
When they ask "Is there a baby yet?" Tell them yes, (s)he just hasn't come out to kick them yet. Right now (s)he is reserving those just for you. (Yes, I am a smart ass and I was worse when I was pregnant.)
Good Luck and do enjoy your time lounging... I had a hard time sitting after I gave birth. (I had a lot of pain... there. Sitting was not my friend.) Oh, and make sure your doctor know that you do NOT want an extreme Daddy Stitch. It makes alone time with Daddy... painful. (TMI, I know, but I warn all to be mothers about that.)
So did I...although I've also heard they've gotten better at predicting due dates...but yeah, I think 2 weeks can still be pretty normal for first babies.
