Three of my favourites got
Hugo awards this time: Neil Gaiman got "Best Novel" for The Graveyard Book,
Girl Genius won "Best Graphic Story" and "Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form" went to Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog.
It's always nice when you recognize at least a few of the award winners, and even better when it's stuff you really like!

Most of the nominees in the short-story category are rather good too. EscapePod ran all of them, so I've listened to them (which may bias my perception a bit: some stories are better suited for that medium than others). I was happy to see that Ted Chiang's "Exhalation" won, as that was my favourite of the five.
