I feel like I should be writing something profound today, but I just can't make myself do it. I'd call it equal parts lazy, and political fatigue. If I wrote something, it'd come out like a pastiche of every talking point I've read on the internet for the past two years.
When election results begin coming in tonight, I'll be doing an after-hours event at the Museum. Once home, I won't be able to follow Wolf Blitzer's magic wall, or watch Fox News call Vermont for McCain, because I cancelled my cable TV two months ago (and am living quite well without it).

The next time I vote, it'll be in another state, hopefully a place where someone with my beliefs and views can feel like they belong. Georgia is not it. As most of the country is waking up and getting a clue, other parts, like Georgia, are pushing back harder. Even so, Saxby Chambliss won't have the easy coasting to re-election like he'd hoped. But Georgia can have him. My Senators will be Salazar and Udall. And my President...
