With about 11 weeks to go until X-Day, I'm realizing that some of the consumable/disposable stuff I'm buying now will still be with me at the time of my move. For example, I bought a package of razors. There are 14 in the package, and I use about one a week. I have bought the last razors I will need here (unless I go back to regular chest-shaving).
Toilet paper. Paper towels. Band-Aids and Neosporin. A one-person household doesn't go through stuff like that very fast. Dishwashing liquid-will I even have a dishwasher in three months? Will I need to buy any more coffee before I pack up the espresso machine and French press? Have I bought my last tube of toothpaste? My last sack of sugar? My last bottle of ketchup?
Yesterday, I did get confirmation that my car is a total loss. Conventional wisdom says I should go get the tag, but I'm not sure what for.
