This is a recent development, honestly. I think they were all too worried over my health to worry about my social life (or lack thereof) before. This worrying about Mandy not dating started around Christmas. I fear it will continue for some time now, though...
Oh boy, I know how that is. I'm the eldest grandchild on my mum's side of the family and it seems like they're always 'subtly' enquiring as to whether I'm with anybody or not. I remember when my best friend and I used to hang out with these two friends of ours all the time and Mum was all "so who is dating who?" Never mind the fact that all the signs point to the pair are VERY gay.
*patpat* At least this discussion happened now instead of starting back when you were four and on-going. I pretty much put my foot down on the "When are you going to get married?" question, and if they persist, I start talking about teh gay and asexual reproduction (thanks for that btw, makes my life easier!) That usually gets the conversation to stop... and if it doesn't, there's always the meaner, back up reply of "Oh. Whenever. By the way, still have sex are you? Going at it like rabid bunnies when the kids aren't around? Are handcuffs used or do you do it the old fashioned way, wink wink nudge nudge?"
