Well, I've got another day of revising ahead of me but I don't even mind because it'll all be over for a while by lunch time tomorrow! I'm actually still feeling quite confident about this exam which is strange because I'm usually feeling nervous by this point. As for Sam. Yes, I do think it was selfish of him to leave, but I can understand why he left. What I don't understand is how he completely cut Dean out of his life.
I ship Sam/Dean. I think there were already feelings between them in pre-Stanford era. Sam left, I think, in part because of these conflicting emotions.
I think that because Sam clashed so often with John, he really couldn't look at his earlier memories and think of them as good, because he wanted to get away from hunting, so in shutting out all that had to do with hunting, he also shut Dean out.
I don't really know if this makes sense, it's all so complicated.

I think a lot of what you said definitely made sense and I can understand it all. I don't think it was selfish of him to leave but the way he went about it - cutting them out of his life - was selfish, if that makes sense
