A Lazy Sunday...

Today has been really nice so far. We went to the beach this morning and Kizzie had a really long, good run. She really tired herself out today, acting like a proper dog digging holes and stuff! I do really enjoy our Sunday walks down there - lots of people I mention them to wonder how I can face getting up so early on a Sunday but I love doing it

What kind of a dog was it? :( I think some people think it's necessary to hit bigger dogs even though it's so totally not. seeing something like that always breaks my heart. fuckers.

It was a labrador - I think he was telling it off for running away but a) he should have had it on a lead until he got onto the beach anyway and b) hitting it's not exactly going to want to make it stay around.

It makes me so mad.

That would've made me angry, too. A friend of my brother's has a Rottweiler puppy and they keep it in a cage to make it a "watchdog" or whatever but that's just not right. It's such a cute puppy... Some people, really. :/

Yeah, we're really lucky because we live about ten minutes drive away from the beach and it's a really nice beach. It's not like we can ever go for a swim or anything because the water's always freezing even in Summer but it's nice to go down there for walks.

My auntie (the one I don't get on with anymore) and her family used to have a spaniel that they kept outside (even when it snowed) for no other reason than they didn't want him in the house :( Luckily he has a better home now.

Well, a beach with cold water is definitely better than no beach at all.
