What They're Teaching the Kids

We live in a town of about ten thousand people in red state Indiana, after fleeing the taxes and politics in Illinois. I have one eighth grade sibling and one who is a sophomore in high school. Mom has been watching their curriculums and complaining about all the blatant indoctrination. You can't even get away from it here. The high schooler is

I'm glad I don't have any kidlets in school myself, but I have a toddler grandchild. Maybe I should be the homeschooler....

I've got a fourth grader and two second graders. They'll be exposed to that crap in no time.

There are definitely schools starting the kids as young as kindergarten on all the crap.

Another is Robin DiAngelo. White Fragility. Toxic waste dump. I'm so glad my kid is no longer in school. Any of this toxic waste makes her very upset. I have to watch what is bought into or shown in this house. Not that I want any of it around us, but it is so prevalent.

One good thing about parents forced to witness schooling at home is people are finally waking up to the indoctrination of our children.
