Tonight, we set the stage!
IC CHAT

The Chat
My greatest play! My greatest face!

To go with our OOC plotting chat, we now have an official In-Character Chat, at glassvial! This is just what it sounds like, a chat for our characters to hang out and play in. It's pretty unregulated, but there are a few things that you should know before diving in.

Guidelines
Repo Man, come take my eyes....

The most important thing to know about our IC Chat is that nothing that happens in the chat is to be considered game canon. Think of it like a dressing room just for the players of REPO! What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

The IC chat is for roleplay only. The reason it was created is so that, if anyone wants to do some laid-back character interaction, they can without cluttering up the OOC and keeping everyone else from having a normal conversation. The same applies to the IC chat; little OOC comments and the like are fine, but no involved discussions. That's what the other chat is for.

Pretty much anything can happen in the chat. For the most part things are kept lighthearted, but there is certainly the possibility of drama, fights, drinking, and various other things going on. Anything goes, although we do request that, if your characters are going to be doing anything.... adult, that you take it to personal IM. Nothing NC-17, please.

FAQ

What's the setting like?
Anything you want, really! But, for the sake of consistency, we'll keep the main room the same. It's something like a bar with several couches scattered around; the bar itself is kept fully-stocked, but there's no bartender, so you'll have to mix things for yourself. Along the wall are several doors to... whatever you want! What's in the rooms beyond isn't fixed, so whatever you need them to be is what they are.

What's the point, if it isn't game canon?
There is none, really; it's just for fun. It's very casual, and pretty much anything goes. You can use it to test the waters of a possible relationship, if you like, or if you're thinking about picking up a new character you can toss him in chat to see if you'd like to play him in the real game. We do ask that you don't make a habit of playing characters you haven't applied for, but doing it once or twice to find their voice is fine.

What's the format?
For the most part, we do it script-style. The reason for this is that most players have two or more characters; with script-style you can always tell who's speaking.

Does it HAVE to be non-canon? We had a great scene/conversation that could easily fit in the game setting!
Sadly, yes, everything is non-canon. You may, however, take a conversation or scene that you played and rewrite it in thisoperashit, so long as you make sure it actually applies to the game itself and takes place in an in-game setting. The chatroom doesn't exist in the Repoverse.
