I know I'm a little late with this but I'm sorry to hear about your friend. And I understand the whole not wanting help part. My mom is the same way with me. When my old babysitter (pretty much my second mother) died I just wanted to go straight to bed, and she kept being like "you need to talk about this, blah blah blah." The thing is, in grief, you sort of need to deal with it your own way. So, *HUGS*. I know there's nothing anyone can do to make it any better, so I'll just send good thoughts your way.
