The semi-finals of LJ IDOL Season 8 are in the books, now there are only two things left to do - to say goodbye and to decide this thing once and for all

Thank you, Gary. This was a very sweet goodbye <3

I'm happy and proud of myself. No sadness here. I'm writing my official goodbye post now (though my entry in and of itself was meant to be a goodbye post for the season anyway since I knew I wasn't going to pimp and specifically asked Kevin to not pimp for me either).

Congrats to the other two wonderful ladies. It's been a pleasure being in the semi-finals amongst such talent.

Thanks to everyone who has continually supported me from the very beginning of my time here in Idol. And thanks to Gary for putting this whole shindig together.

Now back to my goodbye post which is slowly becoming a novel!

You had a great run and I'm really proud of you, honey. You've grown by leaps and bounds and it's been really terrific to see. I think Gary was right in saying if you keep working, you'll be a force to be reckoned with.

Congratulations, Kristin - you have grown so much as a writer, and it's been a pleasure and a privilege to read your work. I am always inspired by the way you share your personal stories as well as the morbid creations from the recesses of your brain - there's a huge dark side in there, and I'm glad we got to see both of your worlds!

Thank you! I've always been interested in the dark side of things, even if my world view is very positive and happy. It's a nice contrast :)

It's been a pleasure writing alongside you and I'm wishing you luck in the finals. I told Gary early on that it would be very hard for anyone to beat you. You're just that good! But totally deserving of being here too.
