Dang it. I saw the notification in my inbox that I’d been tagged so I knew coming into this post that this might be the case. I think it’s very cool that I got so many votes. I guess my entry was better than I thought this week.

I’ll see what I can do, I guess. I’m flying out tomorrow and won’t get in until Thursday, so I’ll have to write it tonight. I’m currently on a bus to get stuff I need for the trip so yeah... this will be fun 😂

Ugh. This is exactly what I was afraid would happen with the Second Chance people.

All four of those entries were ones I normally would have voted for, but with the Topsy Turvy element, I didn't vote for a single one of them-- or any of the others I thought were really good.

I still wonder how many of the main competition voters read the fine print on how the Second Chance voting worked. You definitely wouldn't have wanted your favorites to get the most votes this week. :( :(

I thought people might vote for their least favorites for this reason. My only thought is that those who come out ahead from this may end up going into the main competition - or get rewarded another way. Otherwise, yeah, this twist is evil.

There's no way of knowing what any secret benefits might be, but from what was said and implied, Second Chance will continue forward for at least one more week, and those who are not in the write-off competition are _guaranteed_ to remain in Second Chance.

It was one of the things I really hated about this setup. :(

That's not the way I understand it. I could be wrong, but based on things he said earlier, it is the people in this sudden death round who have the option of getting back into the main competition.
