I met Alice Cooper years ago when I managed a Tower Records. He is so shockingly inoffensive out of character! Sincerely nice guy.
I agree with you that Idol brings all manner of folks together who wouldn't really find one another otherwise. It's such a conglomeration of writers and readers! I love how much Idolars APPRECIATE writing!
I hope it continues, in one form or the other, for a long time.
Now I'm wondering if I should have emailed to find out where I fell last week. :)

I think Idol will continue, "in one form or another". I can't recommend that you stay on lj -- I think you'll lose a lot of people with the new TOS -- but...you'll figure something out, probably. :)
