Stranger than fiction.. disliked that film immensely.
Films to watch - Schindler's List, The Gift (some obscure Japanese film).
When you finish Romeo & Juliet, you should check out Prokofiev's ballet of R et J.

Too bad, because I liked it!! You tasteless sandwich! (LOL)
Err anyway. Yeah I have been wanting to watch Schindler's List for ages but i think it's going to depress the hell out of me so I don't know who I'm supposed to watch it with. I mean, it's hardly nice to invite friends over for a long anticipated get-together and then make them feel terrible, is it? :/ And my brother is under 15.

Have not heard of the gift, but am desperately looking for a copy of the History Boys! Yes. And. Do you have the recording for R and J, or do I have to watch the ballet because I don't really know if it's showing...

"tasteless sandwich".. cutting wit right there, benefits of being an Arts student no doubt.
Um, I know what you mean by not knowing who to watch it with. I watched it with my dad, and it was a little awkward because it was so touching and we both getting a little bit teary, well I was anyway. That being said, I don't think the film is really that depressing, it's really more of a triumph of sorts. Watching it was like an epiphany of sorts, maybe you'd take it in more if you watched it by yourself? Well the music for the film is fantastic anyway.

As for Prok's R & J, I dunno. I just like the music, and there are a few scenes which really capture the emotional intensity and drama of the play. I've only seen like 2 scenes though.. youtube I think. I'm not that cultured.
