Yay to Jeremy, Matthew, and Blake! I haven't seen the other two versions yet so I don't know. =]

I still need to see the newest version of Emma but Jeremy will always be my Knightley.

the end of this where you can see the lightbulb going off in his head that he's madly in love with her? No words.

Such a fantastic scene!

I'm pretty sure I've seen that scene like seventeen times. :D

The new version's pretty lovely in it's own right. Jeremy's just more Knightley to me, but Jonny Lee Miller does and excellent job, too.

Thanks for the comment. ♥

I like Jonny in the film version of Mansfield Park back in the 90s but Blake does it a bit better.

Yeah.

I think Jonny makes a better Knightley than Edmund, though. :)

Wow... I feel so behind with the new adaptations now xD
Anyway, YAY for Jeremy Northam :D

Matthew Macfadyen was good (I loved his deep voice) but still I prefer Colin. It's not only the actors but the interpretation of the characters - I just like the style of the 95 version more. The new one had those moments of running around in the fields and being very open with emotions, which I found out of character.

I know what you mean. To everything. ;) The adaptations just keep coming and Jeremy Northam always deserves a YAY. And Colin was absolutely excellent. I liked the extra emotion that wouldn't have actually been around based on social norms since it gave me more of a feel for why people were doing things and let me feel for them/with them. But I definitely know what you mean.

And anyway, the book just tops it all, right? :D
