In complete agreement. AUSTEN BOYS FTW.

The entire time I was watching Northanger Abbey, I was thinking about how awesome it would be if JJ Field played Lee Pace's brother in a movie. They look freakishly alike to me, and they're both gorgeous. So...yeah. I'm waiting for that film.

AND HOLY CRAP PERSUASION. In one of the last scenes, where she tells him she isn't marrying Walter, I nearly fainted whenever they had a close-up of Rupert. The lighting was so beautiful that it made his eyes just...I don't even know.

I want to see that film. You'll let me know when it comes out, hm? ;)

FOR REALS. He's absolutely gorgeous in that scene. And you can just see everything all over his face...sigh.

Thanks for the comment! :D

So totally adorable! *squee* I love Jeremy Northam. And Rupert Penry-Jones is pretty much the reason I can think of the '07 Persuasion with fondness. I don't like much of that adaptation, but man...he's a wonderful Wentworth. (And yeah, I've always felt sorry for Charles, getting stuck with Mary when he could've had Anne.)

icon win. :D

Thanks! I never really cared much about Musgrove until I saw that version...he's still so sweet to Anne even though she turned him down...I can't help but find him adorable. And, yeah, Rupert definitely makes the adaptation worthwhile. ;)
