i sure hope so. apparently another girl did the same, but she wrote a mass email to everyone in the company saying how much of an ass he was. i considered writing it to everyone in the company but chose to only leave it to my department.
i'm so happy to be free. i was making decent money but when it comes down to it, my happiness is worth more than any amount of money. i take this as a lesson learned, because i definitely discovered that i'm not cut out for the corporate world.
That steven guy even gave me a nightmare and I never even met him..A few nights back (after reading that LJ entry) I had a dream that I was working for this IT company and I had this boss from hell..gave me chills
anyways..
That's pretty much the best resignation letter ever. I should have sent one like that to my last job..You know what? I still have nightmares about my old job and supervisors - It has affected my psyche that bad..It's amazing how much something like that can drive one crazy..The stupid cunts
Anyways, you're definately not a deadbeat..You took the initiative and left a nasty situation before it got worse. And I find that people like Steven don't usually last long..I'd say within a few years, he'll likely be fired and working some crummy job somewhere. Trust me I've seen the mighty fall and revenge is sweet
Anyways, I ramble..Definately take the time to enjoy this summer; You'll find your way, love
i know how you feel! i think the reason i have anxiety issues now is because of how much pressure and stuff i was feeling from working...in a call center?! plus my living condition at the time was sub-par to what i have now, i was in a constant battle with my room mates, causing even more stress.
the only problem with steven is he's the CEO of the company. so he can pretty much do whatever he damn well pleases, which pisses me off but i guess that's the way things go? even from a non-business perspective, he treated me and many others like shit. he's not a decent human being. i almost feel sorry for him.

And that resignation email is just plain awesome. Maybe it'll help more people speak out about what an asshole this Steven guy is.
