so, i quit my job.
i had initially planned to work my ass off last weekend but i kept pushing it back and pushing it back, until i ran out of time. came tuesday, after the holiday, i wrote an email to my department saying i wasn't going to be in that day due to illness. now, i wasn't exactly ill, but i needed to give myself some time to think about what i was going to do.
later that evening i received another email from that douchebag, bitching on about my lack of effort. i must admit, i lost all motivation to work for him after he sent me that email.
so, with that, i stayed up till 4am writing him a reply/resignation e-mail to everyone in my department, including the human resource manager.

Yesterday I woke up and suddenly realized that choosing to work for Steven was the worst mistake I ever made. Not so much the company, but he, himself, has been a constant pain and suffering for me ever since I have started this job. Therefore, I am officially notifying you of my resignation from GEOtivity, today.
I must admit the decision to leave GEOtivity was considerably easy after receiving numerous threatening and inhumane emails from Steven. His lack of business tact is completely unacceptable and I am surprised that his company has managed to thrive as long as it has, especially with his displeasing reputation. But let’s not use that as a conversation topic because otherwise, we would be here for days.
It is not surprising, however, that Steven continuously and effortlessly drives people away from GEOtivity. I am baffled that he is incapable of showing his employees that they are valued, especially when they are the driving force behind GEOtivity. Need I remind you, Steven, that we live in a labor shortage community and that there is an abundance of work to be had here?
I could go on, but between your busy schedule and well, me just not caring, I will end this abruptly.
Today is a great day for me because I no longer have to work for you.
Warmest Regards,
Jennifer E. Abel
