SO.

As some of you may have noticed, I harbor this MASSIVE AMOUNT OF LOVE for Ianto's kickass sideburns. As I first noted on a seemingly normal Thursday awhile back, my main reason for disliking COE was the HORRIBLE LACK OF SIDEBURNAGE.

LOLOLOL REALLY THAT WAS THE ONLY REASON I SWEAR.

Damn, but he is one handsome sheep-shagger in Season Two! You got some brill screencaps here, lots of moments I haven't even noticed before (and will be gratuitously stealing for iconic purposes if that's OK?) And extra kudos for the incidental picspam celebration of occasional appearances by The Silly Tintin Quiff, and by Those Sticky-Up-Bits On Top Of His Head - clearly done on purpose by Jack while he's having a nap, and who can blame him?

Steal away! The tin tin tuff together with the sideburns make him adorable. I am of the mind that he was prettiest in series two.

but I just have to ask, at the very end of Exit Wounds, when Gwen says 'I don't know how I can carry on', did ou notice Ianto suppressing an eyeroll? Maybe the sideburns were displeased...

I didn't realize it until a routine Day One rewatch, and then it hit me. Everything suddenly made sense!

I did notice the teeny tiny eyeroll at the end of Exit Wounds. The sideburns probably didn't want Gwen and her awesome bangs to leave. That would have been just terrible!

You are too right about season 3--the disturbing lack of sideburnage is what makes it so hard to re-watch. Thank you for finally accurately labeling my discontent!

In other news, I think it is TRUFAX that everyone generally has smashing hair all through season 2. But Ianto and Gwen especially--her bangs will kick your ass! Then bring you a cuppa.
