Olive is my all-time fave female character - she overtook Angela Martin by a mile.

Does this mean that this was the last episode we'll see, or are they going to air the rest of the season?

According to Ausiello:
"The ratings-challenged trio will complete production on their 13-episode orders (Daisies already has, while Eli and DSM have an episode or two to go). Of course, completing the episodes and actually airing them are two totally different things."

So... I guess its unconfirmed as of now. Its the very least we can hope for at the moment :-(

I looked on the ABC website and Pushing Daisies is scheduled for the next two weeks (that's as far as they show) So I'm pretty sure that they'll finish airing the rest. They better or they will have a hell of a lot of pissed off PD fans.

I'll believe we'll see all the remaining episodes.

I'm not holding back the tears anymore.

The problem here is, ABC DID NOT give its best shot. And that pisses me off so much, I can't even tell you. They didn't try hard enough and did nothing of the things they could've done ot save the show they always said they were behind.

How will I survive without my dose of Ned and Chuck now?! This is just horrible.

I feel the same way. Honestly, if it wasn't for Tivo recording the show for me, I never would have been able to keep track when it was showing. There was finally a boost in ratings and then they take it off the air for two weeks?!?! Any new audience will have turned it on and found nothing the next week, and not bothered after that. Its like they had no true commitment to keep it going. Not to mention the utter lack of promotion.

Pushing Daisies has been my one dose of escapism since I started law school. I've grown so attached to the characters and the story that it's just, wrenching my heart right now.

ditto to the law school thing. depressing is what law school is, and Pushing Daisies was one of the few bright spots in that depression.

I know. The damn 'We gave it the best shot we could' from the ABC president really steams me.
