The problem here is, ABC DID NOT give its best shot. And that pisses me off so much, I can't even tell you. They didn't try hard enough and did nothing of the things they could've done ot save the show they always said they were behind.
How will I survive without my dose of Ned and Chuck now?! This is just horrible.
I feel the same way. Honestly, if it wasn't for Tivo recording the show for me, I never would have been able to keep track when it was showing. There was finally a boost in ratings and then they take it off the air for two weeks?!?! Any new audience will have turned it on and found nothing the next week, and not bothered after that. Its like they had no true commitment to keep it going. Not to mention the utter lack of promotion.
Pushing Daisies has been my one dose of escapism since I started law school. I've grown so attached to the characters and the story that it's just, wrenching my heart right now.
Yes. and PD really did have the worst luck with airing times. First the writers strike, Then the election and all the other fun stuff goin' down here in america. and Then the two week hiatus after the ratings boosted a good 2 million. WTF. ABC. WTF. *sniffle* And yes, i haven't managed to catch one single PD add on ABC.
