1. Hillary Clinton is going to win the Democratic nomination. Edwards is too unimpressive and Obama is just too green to get older party support. I am uncomfortable with a lot of her decisions, but I will vote for her anyway because I know that she will keep abortion legal and put moderates in the Supreme Court. I sincerely hope that it's a great big joke, but something about Michael Bey's previous films make me think he just thought the movie would be awesome like that.

Heh, I never saw it. Part of me still wants to see it just for the giant robots, but everyone keeps telling me how terrible it was. (Well, friends with good taste, anyway.) Odds are It'll be one of those movies I borrow from someone at work... and watch when Kaylie's not around... then I'll hide the fact that I watched it, almost as if it was a porno or something.

But I enjoyed the rest of your post, too!

I asked about Jazz being black, too, but Josh says that Jazz was always black in the series.

I thought the movie was okay, but I could have done without the romance subplot.

I just thought it was funny that the token black guy got killed, even if he was a robot. Michael and I were like "Why did they introduce a black ro- oh."

I really wish it would have been less humans and more robots. I was there for robots, not wacky adolescent hijinks. Harrumph.

1. If Hillary is sitting at the front of the short bus this election then I guess I'll have to vote for her, but I wish Obama would get it.

2. I agree with Michael on this one. I can see where you're coming from though, and it is pretty annoying. But third parties have their place.

3. As antagonistic toward religion as I am I have to agree with you. It seems like they're the only ones that know how to get shit done.

4. Celebrity charity is starting to get really goddamned old in general.

5. I don't know, I've been thin, and I've been fat. I'm about to start trying to get healthier again. I know I wont be rocking a six pack, but I know the keg isn't exactly what I should have either. But yeah, I agree, most fat people are that way because of their genes.

6. I knew that movie was going to suck, I just needed to hear more people talk shit about it. A bunch of people I know were saying "Awww dude...dude...go see the Transformers!" Then again, most of my friends are retards.

7. That sums Michael Moore up nicely.

1: I used to be really pro-Obama, but I've been getting less comfortable with him the more I hear from him. He is an intelligent and compassionate man and I have a ton of respect for him, but his inability to articulate his policy ideas in some areas worries me. I would vote for him anyway, but I can see why older party members won't get on the Obama bus. Hillary is transparent and will do what the party wants her to, so she'll get it ( ... )

2. I read your response to Mike up there. I agree with you on the context of ignoring third parties. I think it worked in 2004 (well, would've). The only thing I fear about that idea is that we may be getting into an era where we have to select between the lesser of two evils every time, and both evils are pretty fucked ( ... )
