After dropping King off at Elliot's place as per Sehun's request of not bringing his dog along while they went out, Baekhyun took his time choosing his clothes. His boyfriend had asked to meet him at a shopping district in the afternoon. For what, he did not know. Lately Sehun had been acting so out of character, as if he was trying to hide something from him. His lips formed a pout when the possibility of Sehun getting into trouble again appeared in his mind. The younger might not want him to be angry, so he was actually bribing him by being nice.

Yes, that was a possibility. One should never trust Oh Sehun too easily

A buzz on his phone suggested that Baekhyun had texted him back, but he didn’t bother looking at it anymore because his paws were preventing him from navigating his phone. Besides, he doesn’t need to anyways because he already knew what the message contained. Just a little turn of his head to the side and he quickly saw Baekhyun standing just a few feet away from the fountain. ‘Ah~ look at him. He looks so cute today’, the demigod thought as he cooed at his boyfriend from afar

Baekhyun waited for a reply text to come, but minutes passed and there was none. Raising his eyebrows in wonder if his boyfriend really was drunk, he found a seat on an empty bench by the fountain, letting out a slight huff as his lower lip jutted out in a pout. He looked around, noticing that he was the only person without a companion, save for the bird on his shoulder who was singing the song of birds. It sounded pretty, comforting, making a smile bloom on his face without himself knowing.

The streets were pretty busy at this time of the day, he noticed. There was a certain dog mascot that caught his attention; if there were two things that would attract him, they would be animals and fluffy things. The walking dog mascot fitted those two criteria, therefore he had this sudden urge to join the crowd of kids around it and to ask for a balloon or two. Had he not been waiting for his boyfriend, he might have already done just that, unleashing his inner childishness.

Sehun, still disguised in his dog costume and silently suffering from the heat inside, watched from a distance as the kids started gathering around Baekhyun. He shook his head at the outcome of the whole situation since it wasn’t going according to what he had initially planned. He asked them to approach Baekhyun one by one to create a sense of surprise and mystery, but it seemed like the kids didn’t understand that part of the plan quite well since they approached Baekhyun altogether, forming a small crowd of tiny men around his boyfriend. Oh well, it seemed to work anyway since Baekhyun didn’t catch on what was happening. He’s quite out of earshot from Baekhyun and the kids so he couldn’t really hear what his boyfriend was telling them. But he knew he was inquiring as to whom the flowers came from. His heart almost skipped a beat when he saw the bubbly one looked at his direction, ready to point his tiny finger at him. But good thing the bored looking kid was quick enough to stop his friend from blowing up his cover. Good job, kid!
