Summary: Kyuhyun invites a stranger over to borrow some video games.
Those who just recently came to know Kyuhyun would assume many things about him. They'd think he wasn't loved enough as a child, or perhaps was simply just a spoiled brat to go around with a 'better than you' air about him all the time. They'd think he would never deem a stranger worth his time (and for the most part they were probably right). They'd definitely never think he'd invite a stranger over to his apartment without so much as knowing the person's name.
And yet that was exactly what had happened. Not just with any stranger, mind you, but one he hadn't even met face-to-face before. An internet stranger. So many things about this could go wrong, but quite frankly Kyuhyun didn't really care. He'd survived far worse than whatever could happen. Maybe it was confidence...maybe it was cockiness. Who knew.
Working odd hours meant that today was one of the rare days Kyuhyun was free from work, and he hadn't planned to do much more with his day than play Starcraft. There were no errands to run, no friends to visit. Who would he even visit? Despite being in the city for a couple months now, he had yet to so much as make friends at work. And that suited him just fine.
Padding slowly out of the kitchen with a cup of coffee in hand, Kyuhyun took a slow sip and eyed the bag of video games sitting by the couch. The possibility of assault put aside, maybe he should be a little more wary about handing his games over to a complete stranger. There was no guarantee he'd get them back, and those games would be a pain to replace.
