We adopted Scarlet from a local rescue yesterday. She is a 4 year old pure bred boxer. She is such a sweetheart and I'm so happy to finally have another boxer in the house. I really missed having the goofy face around :) Funnily enough, she looks just like my boxer growing up, down to the spot on her nose.

I could almost swear you mixed in images of Precious. Did they give you a reason why she was put up for adoption?

I know! I thought she kind of looked like her from the rescues ad, but the resemblance is striking.

Her owners put her up for adoption due to an illness. She and two of her 8 week old puppies were surrendered. They are also beyond adorable, http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=14066240

I'm pretty sure I just saw Bethany's older spaniel on Craigslist. :-/

I mentioned seeing the and she said that they hadn't known which dog they were giving away so they posted them both to see which one got the better response. I don't know why they haven't taken it down though. Maybe someone should email and pretend to be interested in him and find out what she says.

Hmm. Maybe her mom decided she didn't want him? I suppose just asking, since it's a brand new ad, wouldn't hurt.
