Please sir, is there anyone out there who might be able to pick me up from Portland airport at 11:15 pm on Monday evening? I'm a little concerned that, if the flight is late, I might miss the last busses, and have no way to get home. I'll give you cookies... (if you don't like cookies, I can give you something else

If it's at 11:00 at night... what kind of sleep pattern are you working with, exactly? =P

Well, since I currently have no set structure from day to day due to being unemployed, my sleep patterns get really weird really quick. For example:

Tuesday I went to bed at 5pm and woke up on Wednesday at 4am, after having been up 26 hours. Wednesday I went to bed at 10pm and woke up at 2:30 am and couldnt' go back to sleep. I tried to take a short nap at 11:00 am and just now got up from it, somehow turning off my alarm and going back to sleep in the middle of it.

If I make it to midnight tonight, I'll be good to give you a ride. If I sleep a reasonable amount, that is :P

As one of my friends put it, I don't have a sleep pattern. I have a sleep chaos.

I might be able to pick you up if no one else can. I'll probably have to bring my 10 month old daughter because my husband needs to get some sleep so he can work the next day and she can be fussy at that time of night. Thank you - but don't you live in, like, Hillsboro? If that's your commute, I would definitely call only as a last resort. That's a crazy distance.

Since that's near your work (and your time getting off work), I think I'd ask you first. Thank you very much. I'm easily able to wait if you need to stay late at work - I'd be waiting on the bus anyway.
