That was lovely! I really think you captured them very well, especially Hiyoshi. I love these two characters, and it's been so long since I've read such great fic about them.

Ooh, I like it. My favorite part is I think Ohtori thinking about Hiyoshi and Koubujutsu, although I don't know exactly why. At any rate, I just like the feel of the whole piece.

(For the record, though, the score would have to be 7-5, since you have to win by two games unless there's a tie break.)

After being completely incoherent on the phone about this, I'll try to be more articulate about it this time around. XD I love your Hiyoshi, or really, I love your Hiyoshi characterization, because I feel like it's really right-on, and there were these lines that seemed just right to me- about Hiyoshi being his own left and right, and caring so fiercely about every shot, and guh. <3 But particularly this:

"Ohtori thinks that maybe he can trust this new Hyotei."

For no reason I can really think of, but yeah. Fantastic. You write Hyotei so brilliantly. ♥ I know Mizuki-muse has got his evil hold on you right now, but I'll be waiting patiently for more Hiyoshi fic too, in the meantime.

Mizuki muse is giving me some time off and I am running back to Hyotei. XD
