Fushigiboshi no Futago Hime 34 - Bright's (hypothetical) Pacifying Power

I didn't really care for this week's ep, but it had its moments. I guess I'm falling into the Miruro camp, but she *is* pretty cute when she smiles.
The same thing he does every week )

Bright's plans are so silly now. >P If all else fails, OVERTHROWDACURRENTKINGZ with the Black Prominence, and it'll be fine. I guess it's 'cause Bright wants to make a good impression and not be killed by rebellious groups later.

Seriously.
If this wasn't a kids' show, Bright would be slaughtering monarchs left and right. Heck, Roman would have done that and not bothered with Bumo and Bright! Or why not use his mind-control powers when Fine and Rein aren't around?
Oddly, this reminds me of the other day when my older sister and I were watching an old episode of He-Man, and Skeletor's plan du jour was to go back in time, not to prevent Castle Greyskull from being built, but to set a wheel in motion so that by the time present-day arrived, it would be so big and going so fast that it would explode, apparently taking Castle Greyskull with it. What kind of a plan is that?
The moral: Villians with stupid plans (or at least lacking common sense) is nothing new.
