Bell Canada Sucks, Sucks Some More and Then Finds New Levels of Suckage

So, today my birthday present was to arrive.  I was supposed to arrive home from school to a new improved HDTV experience.

What I got instead is three hours on the phone trying to find out WTF is going on.

First of all, the guy was supposed to be here between 1-5.  At 4:30, we got suspicious and called Bell.  According to their records, they guy ( Read more... )

Send a letter to the Bell complaints department and in all likelihood they will contact you and offer you something like an extra month or two for free to make it up to you ( ... )

Send a letter to the Bell complaints department

Or send it to the president of the company and copy it to the complaints department.

a Bell Canada employee tells me I must be lying.

And Bell wonders why I have nothing more than basic phone service with them. While not every experience with Rogers has been perfect, they've at least (a) had very few experiences where they've needed to show their customer service, and (b) they've at least apologised when something doltish has happened.

Oh, yeah, and hubby worked programming for their cell phone call centre for a while, and the stories he has are enough to make me stay away form anything customer service realted with Bell.

Bell screws with everyone. Bell Aliant, out in lovely Atlantic Canada, did that too, with our phone...said they arrived and no one was home. Lies.

Send that letter of complaint! They deserve it. And much more.
