I was walking to work and I saw, in the middle of the street, a smashed pumpkin. Either it fell off a truck, or somebody just can't wait to act immature.

Well, it looks like I get to leave at 3pm again today instead of 5pm. This is really great-I really need to get out of here. They have no clue how close I've been to calling in sick each one of these mornings this week, even though it's been only three days.

I guess I'll be back next year!

I get to leave work at 3pm today because this is the last day of work before the holiday. I am really looking forward to getting home. And I am done with my Christmas buying! Coffee beans, that is.

I was in a Starbucks earlier today, and I picked up a brochure about the nutrition facts of their various beverages. Some of these have more calories than a meal. I am so shocked! And grateful that all I ever order is a venti coffee-of-the-day.

Here is the latest issue of NAMI Stigmabusters. It appears that I am not the only one who thought the treatment of the mentally ill person who was shot at the airport was inappropriate.
