I hope Mark's toes clear up soon. Or maybe I should hope they don't so he can keep doing the housework?
Fingers crossed that Conal aced the tests! And I hope you manage to track down a dentist for Elora. Why is it always so difficult to track down dentists who'll take on new patients???
Sorry to hear about your friend Richard, I didn't know about that. It must be hard, but you shouldn't be angry with yourself. You can't be expected to pick up on every little comment a friend makes, and you can go crazy if you start to think about what you could have done and whether it would have changed things. *hugs*
i'm glad mark is doing well, in spite of (or because of?) his toes. sounds like he's being made to rest, while still getting lots of things done. ALSO, very glad he's on disability, just till it clears up. :-)
YAY on furnaces! heat! warmth! expense, but better NOW than midwinter!
and, darlin', at least it's not nightmares. you can wake up feeling sad from them, but they're there, with you, chatting and catching up on things. :-)
as for richard. well. you miss him. he did a stupid thing. it'll take time to forgive him for it.

I'm so glad that you're going to have a new furnace.
I second what Paul said about trying to forgive yourself for missing a clue. As to forgiving Richard, I can see where that's going to take more time.

I'm so sorry about Richard. I lost two friends to suicide last year and it's the worst feeling in the world.
Sometimes we just have to struggle to keep our heads above water. Don't forget you're far from alone.
